NMC members include a wide range of dairy professionals who share an
interest in milk quality and mastitis control, including producers, veterinarians,
university researchers and extension specialists, milk plant field staff,
dairy supplies companies, government officials, and students.
Today, the continued pressure to provide a safe, wholesome food product
as well as the need to increase production efficency, requires a team
effort between dairy producers, veterinarians and other dairy professionals
to develop successful herd health programs. The NMC provides the information
network necessary to help its member stay informed of the latest scientific,
technical, and practical developments in udder health, milking management,
milk quality, and milk safety.
