The NMC Regional Meeting will be held at the Visalia Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center in Visalia, California. Visalia is located in California's San Joaquin Valley, a large and agriculturally rich basin that runs through the center of the state. Room rates at the Holiday Inn are $109 single or double. To obtain the conference rate for hotel rooms, reservations must be made by April 30. Reservation requests made after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. How to Get There Visalia is located at the junction of Freeway 99 and Highway 198 in central California, 185 miles north of Los Angeles and 225 miles south of San Francisco. Take 99 North to 198 East. Exit Plaza Dr. From San Francisco: Interstate 5 South to 198 East. Exit Plaza Dr. Air Travel The Visalia Municipal Airport has daily flights to and from Las Vegas. The other option is to fly into Fresno Yosemite International Airport and rent a car to Visalia. The Fresno airport is about 45-50 miles from Visalia. Things to Do Visalia is within a four-hour drive of either San Francisco or Los Angeles, and 2-1/2 hours from California's central coastline, offering endless options for pre- and postmeeting activities. Visalia is also the gateway city to beautiful Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, just an hour away from the city.
