Why I came is because I was encouraged by one of my mentors, Dr. Ken Leslie, to come to the meeting, meet the crowd and learn some stuff. At the time, I was just starting to do mastitis research so coming to that meeting was a really important opportunity for me to meet all the other players and begin learning from all of those other experts.”
