Meet the Staff

Kristy Mach

Kristy Mach is the executive director of NMC.  She has a degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Kristy handles meeting planning, email communications, web updates, and much more. Kristy has been in the association management business since 2007. Prior to that, she worked in television news, marketing, and public relations.

Den Gardner

Den Gardner is the senior consultant of NMC. Gardner has been in the communications business for more than four decades, including marketing, publishing, and association experience. A 1973 graduate of Minnesota State University — Mankato in Mankato, MN, with a degree in journalism and broadcasting, Gardner has been active in the agriculture industry since the early 1980s, working in marketing communications for industry and association clients.

Gardner owns a marketing consulting business, based in New Prague, MN, focusing on agriculture and the green industry, as well as sports marketing.

JoDee Sattler

JoDee Sattler is the communications and public relations coordinator for the National Mastitis Council.  Additionally, JoDee coordinates scholarship programs, the National Dairy Quality Awards program, communication strategies, and event planning. She has a degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in agricultural journalism and has decades of experience working in the dairy industry.

Kyle Wieskus

Kyle Wieskus is the membership director of NMC. She has degrees in Biology and History from Iowa State University.  She joined the NMC staff in 2015 and manages new memberships and renewals. In addition to her work with NMC, she also is the Membership Director with several other association clients within Gardner & Gardner Communications.

Renee Brod

Renee Brod is the associate director of NMC.  She has a degree in biology from the College of St. Catherine.  She is a certified project manager and event planner. Renee has considerable experience in corporate business and leadership from her previous positions within the tech, banking, and healthcare industries.

Sandra O’Rourke

Sandra O’Rourke is the staff accountant for NMC.  She has a degree in Interdepartmental Speech Communications and Marketing from St. Cloud State University.  Sandra joined the NMC staff in 2019.  Her previous experience includes inventory analysis, management, and consulting.
