Sandra Godden, “The National Mastitis Council is not just an annual meeting. As part of this meeting, yes there is the main program with lots of good material in it, but there are really, really valuable short courses where people can come and get in-depth information on specific topics of interest to them. In addition to that, I think it’s just really important to meet all the people and have a chance to interact, to socialize, sit down in a corner and converse with all of these other experts. To me, that’s just as valuable as interacting and building those relationships, and networking at the meeting and the information that comes with the meeting itself. Apart from the meeting, the National Mastitis Council offers a lot of other opportunities to learn and get really valuable resources or materials. The website is fantastic. Members or even non-members can go onto the website and access a lot of very, very valuable and useful, up-to-date information on mastitis control and milk quality.”
